ND Filters for X1 PRO and PROMAX

I'll start with the good. I've only used the ND 32 filter so far and as far as I can tell the optical quality is good and doesn't cast any bad color tints or cause unwanted glare. Unfortunately that's about the only good thing I can say. They are extremely finicky to mount properly (slide down onto a very thin lip from the top of the camera gimbal). While I'm being as careful as I can, I can't help but feel like I have to push too hard on the camera and gimbal assembly and it's nearly impossible to get it seated right without leaving a bunch of finger prints all over the camera or the filter so have a cloth handy. Lastly, these filters are real glass and they shatter and pop off with even a pretty light impact. I'm destroyed 2 filters in 2 flights which really stinks because they can't be purchased separately. They really need to make a clear gorilla glass version just to protect the camera lens and/or sell these NDs individually or 4 packs of the same strength filter. Also, be careful if your filter cracks and is still on the drone, the glass pieces will be sharp!

I am a certified professional photographer... So I am very aware of neutral density filters. The camera is outstanding on this.It does have a tendency to overexpose in bright sunlight. The filter set definitely. It's a solution Highly recommended for scenes at beaches or on snow.
