1. Is the Hover I receive brand new?
Yes. Every Hover in the Tryout Program meets brand new production standards with full functionality, flawless performance, and a fresh battery. You're getting a new device, not a refurb.
2. What if the device gets damaged during the Tryout?
Normal wear is fine. If there’s physical or water damage that affects performance, a partial fee may apply.
Fly safe and follow the in-app safety tips during your Tryout.
3. How many Tryout slots are available?
This is a limited release with only 100 slots in the first round. Once they’re filled, signups will close until the next batch opens.
4. Where can I find flying tips during my Tryout?
Check your Tryout page and the Help Center in the HOVER app or website for flight tips, creative guides, and shooting ideas.
We’ll also send helpful Tryout emails along the way, so be sure they're not blocked.
5. Can I buy a new model after the Tryout?
Absolutely. While all Tryout units meet new device standards, you’re free to return yours and order a brand new X1, PRO, PROMAX, or mix and match.
